Ohiradai is one of Hakone's seventeen distinct hot spring areas. Sansien channels that abundant flow into three private baths — all without a clock on the wall. Morning soak, pre-dinner soak, midnight soak — do as you please.
Eight rooms, no group bookings. We built this small inn so that couples, solo travelers, and anyone who needs to unhurry can find the space to do it.

Sansien has no public bath. Three private hot springs — Yama-no-yu, En-no-yu, and Hoshi-no-yu — are yours at any hour, with no time limit.
The scent of hinoki fills this indoor bath. Watch the moss garden while the hot water does its work. Spacious enough for 2–4.
A stone outdoor bath set within the inn's garden. Cherry blossom in spring, maple in autumn — the seasons frame the view.
A covered half-outdoor bath — open to the night air but sheltered from rain. Lie back and watch the stars through the open side.

Dinner at Sansien comes to you. Seasonal kaiseki, served in your room — no dining hall, no other guests nearby.
Ingredients from local Ashigara farmers and Sagami Bay fishermen. We update the menu monthly, chasing the best of each season rather than a fixed repertoire.
