PRIORITY

Cottage guests

Cottage guests receive priority booking for all three private baths.

One spring,
three experiences.

Ohiradai onsen is one of Hakone's seventeen springs.
Abundant flow lets us fill all three private baths from the same source.

Classified as a weak salt spring with a faint salty taste. The mineral coating on skin keeps you warm long after stepping out. No dilution, no circulation — straight from the source.

Yama-no-yu is indoor hinoki cypress. En-no-yu is stone, outdoors in the garden. Hoshi-no-yu is covered, half-open to the night. Same water, three entirely different experiences.

Morning, evening, night — each visit feels different. That's the pleasure of having them all to yourself.

Frequently asked questions.

Can we use all three private baths?

Yes, all three. Hoshi-no-yu tends to be popular for evenings — we recommend booking it early at check-in.

Are guests with tattoos accepted?

Yes — our baths are fully private. You won't encounter other guests. Tattoos are fine.

Is it natural flow, uncirculated?

Yes. Ohiradai's abundant spring flows directly into the baths — no added water, no circulation.

Do you accept day-use bathers?

We don't offer day-use bathing. The private springs are reserved for overnight guests only.
