Using Gora, the terminal station of the Hakone mountain railway, as your base, explore the grand nature and culture of Hakone.
Gora Park with its French formal garden. Especially beautiful in rose and cherry blossom seasons; enjoy tea in the teahouse.
Take the cable car to Sounzan, then transfer to the ropeway for Owakudani. Hakone's premier volcanic landscape with active steam vents.
Take the ropeway from Sounzan to Togenndai, then bus to Moto-Hakone. The excursion boat experience on Lake Ashi with its Mt. Fuji view is exceptional.
One of Hakone's best scenic spots where pampas grass shines golden in autumn. Accessible by bus from Gora.
