Tsukinoya's spring is a simple alkaline water from Yumoto — clear, soft, and gentle on the skin. Three baths named for the moon's phases await.
Stone-tiled indoor bath. Most beautiful after midnight, when moonlight slants through the window.
Reservable family bath for couples and families. No extra charge — book at check-in.
Tsukinoya's centrepiece. An outdoor bath open to the sky — moon-gazing while soaking, a pleasure unique to this inn.

A simple alkaline spring with a high pH — the kind that coats the skin gently. Guests often comment on the softness they feel after bathing.
All three baths share the same source. The indoor New Moon bath, the private Half Moon bath, the outdoor Full Moon bath — same water, three entirely different feelings depending on the setting.
Yumoto's spring flows abundantly and hot. At Tsukinoya, we cool it to a comfortable temperature while keeping it as fresh as possible.

Tattooed guests cannot use the public bath but may use the private Half Moon family bath. Please notify us in advance.
We use Yumoto's onsen source, with minimal added water for temperature control.
